Following a ‘lost’ or ‘white season’ 2020 winter due to the pandemic, hopes are high this year for a spectacular skiing season. Ultima Collection is inviting guests to take their skiing to new heights in Courchevel, with the highly anticipated opening of its luxurious ski and wellness resort, Ultima Courchevel Belvédère. It will open on December the 17th, 2021, as the fourth Alpine property in the Collection, offering the experience of a 5-star hotel within the privacy of a chalet.
Ultima’s guests will choose a level of service: completely self-catered — which is not without its access to Ultima’s luxury concierge — or the full experience, complete with a dedicated ski butler, massage therapists, transfers to Courchevel 1850, and famously extravagant breakfasts. There are 13 privatized four- and five- bedroom chalets, categorized into three types, Grand, Prestige and Signature, based on their size and service level.

Ideally located on the Belvédère slopes, sitting between Courchevel 1850 and La Rosière forest, each chalet features a fully equipped kitchen, expansive living space, lift and access to an in-house designer ski store, whilst every bedroom boasts an ensuite bathroom, dressing room and balcony or direct outdoor access. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow swathes of natural interior light and breathtaking
views across the picturesque snowblanketed valley. Natural beauty is not in short supply.
As expected with an Ultima Collection property, wellness is very much on the menu. The spa area features treatment rooms, an indoor and outdoor pool, state-of-the-art hammam, Jacuzzi and sauna, fitness room and beauty salon. Bespoke treatments and programs with leading wellness experts are available on request, accompanied by the latest innovative products from leading Swiss wellness brand Swiss Perfection. The new restaurant with its terrace serves gourmet cuisine to Ultima guests.
Located at the heart of Europe’s largest ski region, Les Trois Vallées, over 600 kilometers of maintained ski-slopes lie on the doorstep of the chalets. It’s a short 7-minute transfer journey to the city’s bars and restaurants for when the hours turn dark. Ski guides and instructors are at the ready to lead excursions to the hidden gems of The Three Valleys, and beyond.
Non-skiers can take to the village of Courchevel to explore the refined boutiques, dining and entertainment on offer, with the Ultima team on call to curate unique and authentic experiences featuring the region’s finest offerings at any time.
Private jet and helicopter transfers can easily be arranged to Courchevel Altiport and Chambéry Aerodrome. Car, or luxury pre-booked transfers from Geneva and Lyon international airports can also be organized.
